Hands In Service

Hands In Service is a program run by our Deacons to help out those in need. Assistance from H.I.S. falls into several categories:

  • Food for Faith: Assistance with meals for people just home from the hospital, new moms, or meals for funeral receptions.
  • Transportation: Assistance with transportation to run errands or to and from church functions.
  • Friendly Visitor: Visiting or calling those who are lonely, or in need of someone to chat with. This could involve overnight stays in case of someone just coming home from the hospital needing assistance.
  • Home & Garden Helper: Assistance with occasional light home or yard maintenance.
  • Child and Respite Care: Assistance in offering emergency childcare or offering respite care for family members caring for loved ones.
  • Computer & Paperwork Assistance: Assistance with computers, or with paperwork, such as filling out forms.
  • Emergency/Disaster Services: Assistance with emergency or disaster situations.

If you need assistance in any of these areas, or can provide assistance in them, please contact the Deacon of the Month or our Pastor via the Church Office.
