Personal Touch

Faith Presbyterian Church offers several options for persons needing assistance.

Our Pastor is available for counseling.

Our Deacons are always available to help in many ways. Their 'Hands In Service' program will even help you change a light bulb, if that's what you need.  Our Deacon-on-Call program provides after-hours contact for members of our congregation.  The church's voice mail message, after office hours and on closed days, will direct callers where to call if they have an urgent need.  Members of the Board of Deacons take turns being responsible for calls directed to this number.

In addition, we are a Stephen Ministry congregation.  So if you just need a Christian friend to help you through any kind of personal crisis, we can help.

If you are looking for other kinds of help, don't forget the new 211 number. Dialing 211 will connect you with our local county's United Way. They will be able to help with information about health and human services including food banks, rent and utility assistance, health insurance, drug and alcohol intervention, job training, elderly assistance and children's programs in our local area. Operators can take calls in both English and Spanish, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
